A while back I won some of these wonderful Piccolo pouches from a competition that my beautiful blogging friend Becca at My Girls and Me ran, we got given loads of these wonderful pouches, but Robin is now a little bit to old for some of them, she does enjoy the fruity ones and my creativity has turned a few of the savory ones into pasta sauces but I wanted to try something a little different and with the help of some puff pastry that I forgot I had in the fridge, I made these.

- Puff Pastry
- Piccolo pouches of your choice
- egg or milk
Its a pretty simple recipe so there isn’t much to it, roll out the puff pastry to a size that you want, depending on how much you want to make, roll out more.. spread the pouches contents onto the puff pastry, making sure that you are covering it and leaving a little space at the edges to help prevent spillage, roll up into a cylinder shape and cut that up into inch wide wheels.
Place into a preheated oven at 180 for about 20 minutes, depending on how crispy you want them to be …
and ta dah!

Its embarrassing how bad they actually look but they are much enjoyed by not only Robin but Kai and Amelia too, which is always nice to know when something you make goes down well with others, I am going to get myself a few more puff pastry rolls and see if I can repeat the process to make some fruity ones too..
I love how they are just perfect for using up all the pouches I haven’t had the chance to use yet and are also perfect with that the easter holiday is coming up shortly with three very hungry monsters to feed!

Until next time
