Another week has gone by, another photograph Sunday for me to share and it’s just more flowers of course, these beautiful fox gloves are in a neighbours garden and have been utterly covered with fuzzy bumblebees all week!
When we finally move and I get to have a garden it will be full of bee friendly plants and of course lots of wind chimes and bird feeders.
It’s really been a long and warm week, with the pollen count really high I am so ready for autumn now, my poor eyes are just so fed up and I’m so surprised as to how high it’s been.
Oh well.. here’s to another week!
This weeks photo comes from my day over my mums house, Mr S needed to do some much needed catch up on some writing that hes been doing for his website and because the children can be such a handle and very noisy I asked my mum if we could come to her house for the day and let him get on with it.
and he did..
but I took my camera and snapped away lots of photos of the children and her garden/house
These are Cyclamens that sit in her conservatory, if you follow me on my instagram you would’ve seen this photo already but I love how clear and clean everything looks.
Today we are off to my aunts house for a meal, expect anything I take today to end up in next weeks photograph Sunday
Until next time
March was another one of those crazy months, the weather was so unsettled, one minute it was sunny and beautiful and the next minute the snow had fallen, March was definitely a better month than February, I don’t know what was wrong with me but I was completely blue and non motivated during Feb which explains why I missed out on doing February in Photos, for one I just didn’t get out much and two I was also really sick with the flu.. Now I feel a lot better, mentally and physically but I just have the dreaded hay fever to look forward to once Spring finally kicks into gear!
The buds are blooming, the birds are mating and the bees are out getting the pollen, March also marks my sons 8th birthday which we went out to a Mexican restaurant and had the most beautiful table in the place and had such a fun time swimming.
Whats funny about this time of year is that we usually go for walks in the woods and I am snapping away photos of the bluebells, but when we went there last weekend there wasn’t a single flower, perhaps we was too early going to the woods or perhaps it was just the cold and snow delaying them from growing.. but expect April to be full of beautiful photos of those woods, I am also going to try and get some lovely photos of my children to include into the post too, I am very nervous about sharing their photos but I will keep their privacy hidden for my own personal reasons but I feel that they need to be added into the end of month shots too.
This weekend was a busy one, it was my last few days alone without Mr S so me and the children all went around to see my mum, and of course Tom my nikon came with me.
She was busying herself in the garden and while the children dug holes and planted ‘tree’s’ I snapped a few photos of the flowers.
I really like this one, I was worried it would’ve looked blurry and wonky as I don’t exactly have the steadiest hand but I am so pleased it came out as clear as it did!
I did take a few more but I’ll save that for next week 😉
Until next time
For the past two weeks of the summer holidays we have basically been stuck inside, it’s rained every day this week and then when it hasn’t rained, it’s been insanely windy..
So on the Friday, during a break in the wind and rain we went for a walk, mainly to get some unhealthy snacks to watch a film, but it was nice to get out finally and stretch the legs and blow some cobwebs away..
My neighbor has this bush in her front garden, and I had been waiting for the day the butterflies would flock to it, so walking past it I always look and to my delight it was covered in butterflies of all shapes and sizes!
This was the nearest one I could get a photo of, it’s such a shame these beautiful creatures only last for a short period of time and then they’re gone..
But I guess if they stuck around all year everyone would be fed up of seeing them.
Until next time
