May was such a weird month, a mixture of extremely hot days and some really wet and rainy ones, the month started with an almost full moon and ended on one too, which I managed to snap with my coolpix camera as I have seen so many wonderful zoomed shots of the moon using this camera before, we visited my mum twice and had far to much to eat as usual, the children built mud pies in her garden while Robin ran in and out of her house, Blossom and pollen everywhere so I didn’t really enjoy the month, spending a lot of it with itchy eyes but it was beautiful, everyone loves a good dandelion head!

Pancakes during half term with lots and lots of Minecraft being played as it was such a soggy week off school, adorable fledgling baby birds and plenty of artwork..

.. and of course stealing mummy’s washi tape to stack and build..

despite the weather it wasn’t that bad.. I don’t think anyone expected the heat after such a cold start to the year, but its not been THAT hard to deal with, I have probably been a grumpy mummy during it but I am now counting down the days until autumn… without three months to go!

I have two photos to share with you this week, one is from our walk in the woods, we went on a little bluebell hunt and thankfully they are fully out and ready for a beautiful snap of my three children, one of my mum friends also blogger Bex takes yearly photos of her children in her amazing little wood surrounded by bluebells and it seemed such a beautiful idea, so when we found that the little wood near the flat was full of them, I wanted to get some photos of my lot in them.. a little inspired photo.

And the second photo is this amazing announcement board that my friend in my baby group made, she doesn’t do it for a business anymore but had 10 spaces available and I jumped at the chance to have another one of her amazing boards, shes such a talented lady and made this for Robin’s second birthday on the 19th April.

I adore it!

The weather here has been not terrible, but rainy, the walk to school was a fun and soggy one after a dry half term!

This photo was taken from one my neighbors gardens – I love flowers in the rain, the droplets look like little crystals on their petals.

The weather often plays a big role in my favorite photos I take, I have many photos of ripples in puddles and rain on windows.

I just love the rain 🙂

I didn’t take very many photos this week, my hay fever has just been so bad that I’ve not gone out much, which is annoying…

So I thought I’d share this photo I took a couple of weeks ago when we went for a walk around our local area! We found fields, horses and a wonderful half built tree house!

It’s always delightful when you find little places like this so local to you 🙂 shame about all the pollen!

I decided to do something a little different for this weeks photograph Friday, a little throw back

Back in January when we got a lovely frost, the whole town was blanketed by a gentle fog and I went for a little walk with the youngest around our area.

This is one of the few I took.
