I love a good eBay browse, sometimes I look for things that I may need, and sometimes I luck out and find a really amazing find.. like this Yummy Mummy Pink Lining Nappy bag.
These beautiful bags usually retail at £79 and are extremely sought after, to get them at a cheaper price is very rare.
Pink Lining bags aren’t just a fashion statement, they are very practical with two padded pockets to put bottles and plenty of other pockets and spaces for other bits and pieces.
I was lucky enough to win this amazing bag at a small price of £23!! a total bargain.
It just goes to show that if you really want something beautiful, you don’t always have to pay the full price,
until my next bargain
Sundays are usually my day to myself, Mr S takes the kittens around their nan’s house and leaves me alone with the baby and the housework so I can reset before the beginning of the school week, this weekend my mum treated me and the three kittens for a trip to a lovely pick your own farm. Cammas Hall Farm is a lovely family run farm just out the outskirts of the Essex/Hertfordshire border and they allow the public to come in and pick your own fruit and veg at certain times of the year.
We went a little bit early as there wasnt many lovely strawberries to pick but we did manage to get one bucket full.
The plan is to head back there during the summer holidays or a bit before and see if we can get lots more, you could see on the shrubs how many could be there next time we go, it was such a shame there wasn’t many but it still was a lovely day out with nanny and kittens.
But on the plus side, I did manage to find some other bits in their farm shop, lovely sausages, shortbread biscuits and these beautiful colorful carrots.
Looking forward to heading back there with the kittens again, its such a cheap day out and you can eat as you pick. Yummy!!
The first bargain that I will feature here is this beautiful Mamas and Papas ‘Gingerbread’ blanket, the blanket itself is still being sold on the Mamas and Papas website at a retail price of £29.99.
I managed to scoop up this lovely knitted blanked for £8.50!!!!
We already have a large cellection of blankets and bedding but who could resist such a good find!
I wonder what goodies I can find next week.
The dreaded chicken pox has entered my home, my eldest daughter Amelia came home from school with a small collection of annoying spots on Thursday and they’ve slowly got worse over the course of the weekend, she doesn’t seem to bothered about them and only has 4 at the minute.. I used Dr Google and she has none of the symptoms that the NHS claims she should have, just those horrid itchy spots.
My soon to be 8 week old shouldn’t catch them as she has my immunity and my eldest baby Kai had them when he was a baby while I was expecting Amelia so we are all fine.
As Robin is 8 weeks this week its almost time for her 8 week immunisations but we are still waiting for her birth certificate to come back from the taxman as I had to add her to my child benefit claim. all my information arrived but not her birth certificate and she isn’t fully registered at the doctors yet.
I cannot fully believe she is 8 weeks now.. my babies are growing far to quickly.
Went for a lovely walk today with my husband and baby, certainly glad we all went out then as its now a stormy afternoon.
Both children are back at school today, so besides the nice walk we haven’t done much else.
I think we just enjoyed the peace.
