Naty Baby Wipes – Review

This week I have been testing out Naty Baby Wipes, A while back I did a post about Water Wipes and if they really are worth what they cost and while I was shopping in my local sainsburys I found these wipes at £1.80 a packet in store, believe it or not these wipes are £2.95 on the official website!

But enough about the price, lets talk about the wipes themselves, The ones that I have are 100% ECO friendly, they are fully biodegradable and are made from natural fibers and ingredients which is pretty fantastic as it limits the amount of plastic currently circulating in our environment at the moment, they have no nasty harmful chemicals so no little bottoms are going to be sore from using these.

On first using them I liked the smell, on the packet it does say its fragrance free but there is a definite smell to them which isn’t a bad thing, I like the texture and thickness of them and they don’t fall apart like some eco friendly wipes which can be a bit fragile under pressure, Their size is good and feel a lot bigger than other brands, I mainly use the Tesco sensitive wipes so I am comparing to them.

The only issue I have, which I have with a lot of eco friendly wipes is their cover to where you pull out the wipe, its a sticker basically which over time can loose the sticky product on it and not cover completely thus causing the wipes to become dry.

But that is the only issue I have, I actually like these wipes, Compared to the water wipes they aren’t soaked and I feel they are a better size and quality to them, I don’t agree with the price but I guess they are making them from materials which cannot be sourced cheaply.

Do I recommend them – actually I do, If you are worried about the environment then out of all the eco friendly wipe brands out there this has been my favorite, they are strong and do their job splendidly, However as I said the packaging is the turn off for me, if they had a clip on lid to prevent drying out then I would definitely add these to my weekly shop.

Would I buy them again – Maybe, they aren’t the cheapest wipes on the market and when you are watching the pennies its hard not to pick up the cheaper, store branded packets of wipes..

I truly hope that one day these eco friendly, baby bottom friendly wipes can be reduced in price for the budget conscious mums out there, I guess in the long run cotton wool and warm water can be a good replacement, but wipes are there for convenience.. and not everyone can afford to spend more than £1 on a single packet of wipes each shop, and we mums to have to buy more than one packet!

I will go on a search of a eco friendly and pocket friendly wipe for a future post as I am now curious if there is any out there!

Until Next Time

  1. This looks like an interesting product and I think, based on your review, I’ll try them.

From my perspective, I’m kind of on the same page as you. If they cost significantly more, it would be difficult to justify continued use over my current wipes (Pampers Sensitive) regardless of the other benefits. But I’ll definitely try them!

  2. Crikey and you thought my £1.60 ones were expensive haha! I do love other naty products though, the nappies were brilliant when my eldest was little. I went on a search for cheap eco wipes a while ago and the Jackson Reece ones worked out the cheapest if you want disposable eco friendly wipes. Reusable worked out the cheapest in the long run for me. Great photos x

  3. I buy WaterWipes but only when they’re on offer on Amazon in bulk. I’ve been looking into reusable wipes instead for an eco friendly alternative to use at home and then normal wipes for out and about.

  4. I used to buy Water Wipes but they’re so expensive compared to the wipes I now buy from Aldi. These wipes look good but the sticker bit at the top for pulling the wipes out would annoy me.

  5. i personally buy water wipes, I don’t know why it is just what we used for our first baby, and plan to with our second. Although these look great they are a little pricey! x
