I know I talked about autumn being one of my favorite times of year, but I have to admit I do enjoy it when all the birds appear and start looking for a future mate..

Every school run I am greeted by this beautiful little chap sitting on the bushes, hes not afraid of me and I have gotten close to him on occasion and of course Robin, my little girl who is obsessed with ‘Bobs’ loves seeing him too!

cheeky little fellow!

Until next time

The leaves are gone and the snow has been trying to fall but that doesn’t stop my bird friends from visiting my little garden outside our window.

Starlings, Pidgeons, Wagtails, Robins, Great tits and of course my favorite and first visitor, the Blue tit … or Burt as it is named.

This week I have been playing with my big camera, which is if you are curious a Nikon D60, my family got it for me one Christmas and it’s my tech baby, he .. yes he’s a he, called Tom has a few knocks, paint marks and a crack on the plastic screen (not on the LCD screen before you ask)..

But he works perfectly.. I would like to get another one in future.. probably name that one Peter.. (obscure Harry Potter reference)

This was taken in my garden, it’s a Great Tit, one of my newest feathered friends to visit my garden feeder, I have two, one from Amazon and one from Wilkinsons.. they are great, cheap and perfect for a small garden, unfortunately I cannot find the Wilko bird table on their website but I am sure you can find it in store!

This chap, and the Longtails aren’t afraid of me so I can get some wonderful photos of them feeding.

Until next time
