September was such a weirdo old month, we got out and about a lot of it but it was a quiet one with Mr S away for a lot of it, all the parenting duties landed on me. but as I said, we still got out.

We went conker collecting, visited my mum many times and even went to Epping Forest which is just up the road from us. it is now officially autumn but the leaves have been dropping since the beginning of September with the combination of the ex tropical storm Helene and two British storms within 24 hours of each other.

We have explored, collected many beautiful things that you would find in autumn and enjoyed seeing the season change once again.

The children themselves are back at school so it means time with the smallest of the family, who has been happy to deal with my walks around my local area collecting as many sticks as she can find.

I think like everyone else who hated the heat of summer, we are so glad to finally see the beauty that is the autumn months!

Hello and welcome back to another Sightings from roundup post. This month has been a long one, with the mix of Mr S being away for the majority of it, we didn’t get out very often and my camera and I didn’t get a chance to explore. But surprisingly there was some photos that I had stored in my phone, so here is what we got up to in the month of august in photos.

Building and Exploring

We have had a lot happen in my home at the moment, I have been stuck in a little DIY cleaning mood so Mr S and I have put together various pieces of furniture. We took a little trip to Ikea while my mum had the older two children for the bank holiday weekend, It is safe to say my front room is slowly turning into the image I have in my head.

It also rained, it hasn’t rained in what felt like months. Robin is obsessed with the rain now and will climb up onto the window to stick her hands out, but because its been cooler, we have managed to get out and explore the world around us. We found conkers and plenty of acorns, We are all excited for when the threes change color.

Despite the lack of photos, I am glad we had such a good month, Its been a very ‘in the moment’ month so anything fun we did, I never took the camera.

Here is to another fun month of photographs.
